Amir Bazaz is the Head of Infrastructure and Climate, IIHS Practice Programme and the Associate Dean of two schools at IIHS – the School of Environment and Sustainability, and the School of Systems and Infrastructure. He works on issues at the intersection of economics, climate change mitigation, and adaptation and sustainable development. His current research interests are low-carbon societies/infrastructure, climate change adaptation and mitigation (across scales), with a specific focus on urban-climate change linkages and climate, energy and environment policy. Amir is an advisor on the CLAPs project.

Post his bachelor’s in history, Satyabrat Sukla did his master’s in development studies, focusing on the trends and challenges in municipal solid waste management systems for his master’s dissertation. With a keen interest in the communications, the development sector, and a passion for design, he began his career at the Centre for Environment Education (CEE) as a Knowledge Management and Communications Consultant. Alongside CEE, Satyabrat spent time working on a voluntary basis with a grassroots organization working towards accelerating ethical beekeeping practices across the Himalayas.
At IIHS, Satyabrat is part of the Communications & Design team, and leverages his experience in communications to help drive outreach and strengthen institutional awareness. In his spare time, Satyabrat enjoys illustrating and watching historical documentaries. He is also an avid football lover and a lifelong Arsenal fan.

He led the IPCC assessment of human security dimensions of climate change.
